ACLS CERTIFICATION

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is designed for healthcare professionals that participate in the management of cardiac arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.  This class is ideal for physicians, nurses, and paramedics working in the Emergency Department, ICU, OR, EMS, and other critical care areas.

ACLS Course Content

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, including chest compressions and the use of a bag-valve-mask

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest

  • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia or unstable tachyarrhythmias

  • Airway management

  • Management of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and stroke
