
ECG & Pharmacology
This classroom-based, instructor-led course is designed to improve electrocardiogram (ECG) recognition skills and pharmacology knowledge for treating cardiovascular emergencies. Designed for healthcare professionals that manage cardiac arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies including EMTs, Paramedics, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Physicians.
This course is recommended prior to taking Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
EKG and Pharmacology Course Content:

Basic heart anatomy and electrophysiology.

Normal ECG measurements.

Basic arrhythmias.

12-lead ECG placement and introduction.

Adminsitration of appropriate drugs within the ACLS algorithms.
