NEW YORK -- Andi Traynor and Max Montgomery's relationship nearly ended before it even started. While training together for a marathon paddleboard event in New York City, Max suffered a heart attack resulting in sudden cardiac arrest. The dramatic scene that unfolded next was caught on tape. Andi, a physician, knew exactly what to do and immediately began CPR while awaiting paramedics. For the next 17 minutes Andi would continue CPR, including mouth-to-mouth breathing--the couple's first kiss. Thanks to Traynor's efforts and the skilled paramedics that took over care, Max survived the ordeal without any brain damage and the couple continue to enjoy each other's company.
