Rookie NYPD officer saves baby with CPR


QUEENS -- An NYPD rookie officer is being hailed as a hero for saving the life of a 20-month-old baby in Queens, New York. Officer Osvaldo Nunez, 22, graduated from academy less than a month ago and was standing outside of his police station when a woman ran up to him asking for help. The baby she was holding was unresponsive and not breathing normally. Officer Nunez leapt into action, placing the baby on the ground and immediately started performing CPR.
